I had a killer English teacher named Mr. Allen. He hated all the other teachers at my school and would always impersonate how they acted at faculty meetings. I you didn't do your homework, he would snap. He wouldn't get violent but he'd huff and puff and his face would get all red. It really hurt Mr. Allen when you didn't do your homework, so I think that's what straightened a lot of kids out. He was nominated as teacher of the year by my senior class. The next year, he got all riled up on the kid Lou. Lou didn't like Mr. Allen. He basically got everyone to hate him and Mr. Allen left my old highschool and went somewhere else. Mr. Allen taught me about integrity. "Always remember your integrity," he'd say. And believe it or not folks, I always have.
