so is there a thread we CAN talk about the movie without fear of reprisal from people who arent that anxious to see the movie so instead of downloading it theyre just wanna wait til it comes to them which may be never in australias case? it is an AWESOME movie and if you dont want me to spoil it just point me to the thread that says "SPOILERS INSIDE" and ill have my discussion there.
I will not point you to such a place and you will not post spoilers and spoil anything for us.
In case you don't know, downloading the movie is illegal and that kind of talk isn't allowed.
For some obscure reason, you think that we have the problem for not participating in an illegal act and giving in to temptation and not having the patient to wait for....what.......a movie. Oh my god, the world will not end if you do not see a freaking movie on your terms.
And it's not a matter whether we're anxious or not, if we are we are and if we aren't we arent', so what, we can wait, we have patience and we don't go around threatening to give out spoilers if not shown where we can.
And since the movie has yet to come out in America, I doubt you'll find a place that's accepting spoilers about this movie.
I'm still surprise at how much I still get surprised at how oblivious human beings can be.

dictate how and what i should do according to your values of right/wrong well heres a newsflash i am going to buy anything and everything that they choose to release in australia in terms of this movie so while it may be illegal to download it i dont find it immoral.
secondly, i dont want to spoil it.. im not sitting here thinking to myself.. ooh what could i tell these people that would completely ruin a great movie experience! no quite the opposite, what i want to do is discuss the deeper meanings of this film, while some are obvious, alot are open to interpretation and i wanted others opinions to enrich my experience of the film. its not a threat its a "im new to these forums, someone point me to the right thread where i can discuss this film so i dont spoil it for anyone" so i dont accidently blurt out "the guy in the wheelchair is ________", and does anyone have an opinion about the ending bit when __________ happens?
its truely a great film and anyone else whos seen it will agree. i just wanted to know if there was a thread where i could speak openly about it

we here are not promotimg illegal by allowing you to talk about it means that we accept the fact that you illegally downloaded it. This forum is a public domain. We need to promote things legally.
Im form Australia too. I also have to wait as long as you. an even if America gets it before us, what's stopping you from buying a US copy over the net or call and ask reletives(if you have some) to buy it for you?
No one is being niave. we are well aware of the idiots who come on here and boast they have illegally seen the movie, to those poeple i say STFU!!! cause no body gives a damn. what do you want an award? do you think your special now?.
one more thing. if you we're Truly a fan you wouldn't be promoting any illeagal downloading of the movie 😐
like i said before im not here to brag that ive seen it i only seek meaningful conversation about the film and im surprised that offends so many people. if anyone has seen it and wants to talk about it PM me.
and like i said i dont consider it theft because i will be paying to see it at the movies as well as purchasing the dvd and since downloading is illegal because it robs film makers of their rightful income, i see this particular case as outside that law, since noone is loosing money from me downloading it, they'll still get their money
i downloaded sin city b4 it came out at the cinemas because we were like 6 months behind, i went and saw it twice and now have the dvd and am searching ebay for a version of the extended version that would work on an australian dvd player. i fail to see the victim in this crime..
i understand though if you disagree.. what proof can i offer that ill buy it when it comes out? none i guess but then again im not really here to convince you or change your mind, this is a fairly large forum and i thought some people on here had seen it and wanted to talk about it.. if thats not true then theres no point in me arguing with people who havent seen it.. the whole thing becomes pointless

I concur completly. For christ sake people what hes asking isnt all that bad. Infact he simply wants to discuss a film within a forum , i mean isnt that the point of this site? I could care less if he downloaded it or not, the fact of the matter is enough time has gone by . Where a heafty amount of people have seen the film , and there should be a forum to discuss it in depth. So you dedicated square enix planktin can stay here unspoiled. while others discuss this movie in depth to enrich the experience of watching such a great piece of cinema. You cant just ignore the viewers of japan and act as if the movie has been untouched and unseen. People are talking about it, regardless if in english or not. So my advice love buzz open a forum within another section of killer movies, your not comitting some sin.
Opening another thread would be against forum rules. Just use the damn spoiler tags, it's not that hard. So what if a lot of time has passed? A lot of people have NOT seen it yet, are waiting for it to be officially released, and do not want to know what happens. It's not that hard to use the spoiler tags if you want to say something that could possibly give away part of the movie.
