USH'S GAME EPISODE V- 'MAUSOLEUM'- LIGHT SIDE AREA

Ok, the man- Garon- explains that he was one of the passengers on the freighter you saw in the Hangar.

Kuylen and his people killed the captain and took control of the ship in an act of piracy. They have done it several times, it seems; the three ships in the hangar right now are just the latest. They cannabalised the ships for parts. For the survivors on board, they had a different idea.

They were kept as slaves. They only had one purpose- to fight until they died. Room T is the Arena. Whenever Kuylen or one of his men wanted to practice, they could pick a slave, arm him, and go fight him in the Arena. Kuylen promised the slaves that if one of them ever killed one of his men, they would be freed. It never happened.

Kuylen trained his recruits by pitting them against these slaves.

"They were told not to kill us if they could help it..." says Ganon, holding up his left hand- artificial. "But he hasn't gathered new slaves in a while. There are just the three of us left. We though... we thought they were going to kill us all..."

(hmm)

Kellan suppressed her outrage. "Three of you ? Where are the other two ?"

"They... ah... they are waiting... the power went out on the cells, we thought we would make one last attempt to kill our captors and be free... they are armed like me!"

"Oh great..." Xeth says, deactivating his lightsaber. "Ever since I've joined your mission, Master Gundark, I've felt nothing but grief..." he mumbles. "Garon, come with us. We need you to call to them to tell them they can come out. Kuylen has left, as have all of his other followers."

(I presume I didnt hear anything?)

*Kosta continues towards the life he senses in the force, he takes small quiet steps, and keeps his eyes open.*

"Is anybody there?" He calls out in a stern voice.

"I'm not going back in those caves!" says Ganon. "I'm not going to be shot by a friend minutes after being freed!"

It's no good anyway, this guy is a nervous wreck.

"But be careful about Shantih..." he says. "He was REALLY determined to take one of Kuylen's men out... he's loaded up with Jedi-killer grenades..."

That's a new one on you...

"Well, I guess we shall search for them then..." Xeth reignites his lightsaber, continuing to search through the caves. "What are their names, Garon?"

From S is bit vague- I'll need to know where you are enterting the tunnels from. Closest point, Marcus?

Garon can give you their names.... but I;ve forgotten them. Darn! Bound to happen. I'll have them soon. One of them is hiding by the River, Garon tells you. Not the nutty one.

Note- what the HECK are Jedi-killer grenades?

"Garon, care to tell me what Jedi-killer grenades are and what they do? I know they are used to kill Jedi, hence the name, but I have not heard of them before."

Yup, bit of a hint from me there...

Garon explains, there is nothing weird about them. They are grenaded with a proximity sensor. The sensor is tuned to the power source of a Lightsabre. If it goes within a foot of one, the grenade detonates. Completely useless, therefore, for you guys. But it can give mundanes an edge. Kuylen gave them to the slaves for use in the arena- helped train his men to react to grenades that were ALWAYS dangerous.

This guy is loaded with them and intends to charge the first guy with a sabre he sees.

when I exit the long hallway that leads to S I turn right and then I take another right, all the way down to the T intersection where I take a left then a right again to enter at V, if I meet something in between lemme know 🙂

"Stupendous..." Xeth says with disappointment. "I think I will take the man at the river first. Care to guide me? Or at least tell me where it is?"

Marcus- it is very dark. You sense life very near at that T-Junction...

Xeth, the River is at V. Which way do you want to go? Garon doesn;t want anything to do with it.
