Xeth- wait, you might have something... it is almost pitch black down here but you can sense some ledges above.... HIGH above.. you think your stuff rolled there! You are not sure if you can make it though...
As you withddraw, Balek loads a new rocket into his arm. Eek!
-
"You won't trick me! says the man. "Never!
"It's true!" says the thin guy you just rescuded from behind./ "They are here to rescue us!"
The man with the grenades look unsure.
Xeth, you jump up athletically and, in one motion, twist, call your sabre to your hand, and slash away at the harness cord, which cuts. The corrdior you fell from is some 20 feet up. With one least effort, Balek fires his re-loaded rocket at you...

Nope, that's it for the slaves, whose other names still escape me- they are all resuced. Aside from the fuel store, they don;t know where you could get any other fuel from.
But it is not all bad news. The pilot will contact you and tell you that he can confirm the captured ships DO have fuel on.
"I even have an idea that might help you make the distance," he says. "But I am not sure if you will like it."
All of you save Xeth may meet back at the hangar to discuss things.
Not sure what you mean there, Marcus.
"Well," says the pilot, "I only need enough fuel to get m ship back to the nearest Republican planet. I can do that, easy. You guys might JUST be able to make it to your co-ordinates. But it's not exactly regular.
"What you will need to do is abandon half of your ships and turn them into fuel carriers. You nolt the carriers to your remianing craft. You hyperspace roughly halfway there. You then refuel from those ships, and dump them in space, before proceeding to your destination.
"Technically speaking the dumped ships should be usable again, so long as you mark where you left them. I doubt many other people will come past, this far out.
"But it is still quite extreme. Are you sure it is THAT important?"
