Ok, folks. The fights are done. Four people have entered the Tomb of Demnos, in this order: Kuylen, Gundark, and then Galder and Takuan together.
This concludes the 'game' part of the storyline, which has lasted over three years.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players for putting up with everything I have thrown at them, and that applies equally to those who have only recently joined, all the way through to Rex and Gundy who have slogged through the whole damn thing, right from the first story, when the world was a different place! You have all been very patient at times when I have been busy, and also had to deal with a lot of hassle! My games are not easy going and I like the players to feel challenged.
That said, I am wimping out at the final stage. I don't have the heart to kill any of you arbitrarily so, Rah and Xeth, you can both be alive if you want to be. Xeth, however, will never totally get over that wound- he will receive no literal impairment to his stats but may have the occasional gameplay problem. But Galder already has an artificial arm; some people like to accumulate these things as trophies...
I like to think the game has gone well in general. Some things didn't work, some things did, some things worked great, some things never happened, and some unplanned things happened that were brilliant! Whilst the storyline was mine and my brother's, these details that REALLY make ther game are all down to you guys, so well done to you all.
What will follow over the next few days are the final post-script threads, including an epilogue, a summary of the ENTIRE storyline with all gaps filled, and the preparation threads for those who wish to carry on with a new storyline, all of which is very much prepared. I would also enjoy seeing a certain amount of general discussion of things!
Before all that there is, of course, one last section of play. When the relevant players are ready, I can do the 'Tomb' section for the three players involved. I considered making a seperate thread for that, but we may as well do it here.
Again, thank you all...
