Galder's face scrunches up with anger. "I do not care what it is, you had no right to kill him! That is what the whack setting on your gun is for!" Galder readies a blow, but decides it would be better to let him live.

"Wraith, stun him," Galder says. "I would just kill him, but I have thought better of it..."

"But he was weak and attacked me," says the accused. "Why should I have jot killed him? To do otherwise would have been weak."

Everyone is waiting to hear a good reason for that.

"save your demonstrations on who's weak or not on the real foes. save them for the jedi. Speaking of wich...you needed the one you killed to aid you in the battle against them. To you...to everyone here..he was worth more alive than dead" says Takuan

Actually... their opinion ius that the weak will be no good in the fight to come.

"Survival of the fittest," says the accused. "He struck me so I struck him down. I do not care who he was, Jedi or Elder or Sith or nobody, why should I have spared his life?"

"because you need to put some thinking behind every action you make. weak or not..you needed him" says Takuan who is getting noticeably angrier.
"why should i spare YOU for that matter?....you are weak!"

Galder grins, seeing Takuan's anger and envisioning him doing something radical with the Force to the Zeitonian.

"While it is the survival of the fittest, it is not for you to decide who is weak and who isn't. Why did he strike you in the first place?"

"He struck me because he said you cheated in the duel and he would show whose side was stronger. I proved him wrong.

We do NOT need him. We do not need the weak. I just proved myself strong. And if you kill me then everyone will know there is no logic in your discipline."

"No logic in my discipline?" Galder thinks. "Maybe you are right. Maybe you are wrong. Either way, compared to me, I am the more superior. I will spare you, but there is no reason why you should kill. Those are orders." Galder lightens up on his stern face. "But, I did cheat a little. Wraith cheated equally. I am just a better fighter, more experienced. Isn't that right, Wraith?" Galder asks as he looks over to his coohort with a wink.

Rah turns to his men "Again another lesson is learned. Although we have instructed you to use your anger to make you strong, you must also use it to foresee the repercussions of your actions." Indicating the dead Zietonian "He died because he assumed too much and didnt have the foresight to see that his actions would result in his death." He continues "This power we have opened up for you is your servant, use it well and it will keep you safe, but if you are careless..." Again indicating the dead Zietonian "It will be your undoing!"

(How are my riot plans coming on?)

"right or wrong, you have to talk with your captain before doing something. You don't act on your own here.." says TAkuan
"if you do this again, i shall kill you myself as an example"

"He was going to kill me," says the Zeitonian. "I hardly had the time to come appeal to you whilst he did that."

I am sure they are getting along fine, Rah! But very little actual time has passed as of yet and Kuylen still says tomorrow is the big day- people are hearing of you fast, but not THAT fast...

"there were plenty of ways fo you to have dealt with this differently. What you have to and will understand is that you didn't choose the efficient way to it" says TAkuan "that will be all.." he adds.

heh...i'm kinda getting into this commanding language 😛

Ah well, it's the kind of thing you folks have to get used to!

"You aren't my leader," he says. "I answer only to Galder and Kuylen."

"mind your tongue!" says the angered takuan, enforcing it with the force. He has the most devilish look on his face.

Galder grinned, but stepped in. "I'll handle him, Takuan. Don't want my men dying off that fast. I doubt there will be another disturbance..." Galder turns to his men with a stern face. "Am I right?"

"yes, listen to your captain" says TAkuan leaving

"Why do you let that man speak to us so?" asks the accused, Galder. "He has no skill; he is your clear inferior."

(does anyone else get ush's tactic? 😖hifty🙂

(I certainly don't, apparently...)

Galder starts to let his anger show. "Alright, new orders then. Takuan, though he may be inferior to me in combat, is clearly your superior in the Force. He may speak to you as he chooses..."

It's not a tactic per say, it's a learning curve in the problems of command in a competitive environment. For Dark Siders, 'competitive examination' has a different meaning. After all, several people might have been by your side now but they died in training- hence the graveyard on Dordellus. And those are the ones Kuylen had respect for! This one simply does not understand, from the direction given him, what he has done wrong.

"Very well," says the accused, Galder. "But if you can beat him in a fight I do not see how his 'superior Force skills' avail him any."

"What if Galder's men start killing OUR men, sir?" asks your Lieutenant, Takuan.
