"Hmm," says Kuylen. "We have the Astrolabe. We left no traces. How, then, did they follow us? Ascar?"
"It's the only way they could know," says Saar. "I don't know what game that man is playing but I do not like it. You should have killed him, Kuylen."
"Easier said than done."
"And you should know only too well, Galder; the presence of the Jedi can easily ruin any plans of ours!" continues Saar, never a man to look on any bright sides.
"I agree with Rah," says Jolanta. "We should push on."
Kuylen thinks further.
"What has happened with them?"
"They've been taken into custody by the Elder."
"Will he ally with them?"
"My word, no!" says Shi'Haia. "He'll have them executed. Their very existence threatens everything he stands for."
"Hmm," says Kuylen. "Too neat. These Jedi may be predictable but they are also resourceful. Give them any time at all and they will escape." He smiles. "Shi'Haia... go and... expedite proceedings. Use your imagaination. You'll think of something, I am sure.!
"Yes, Master!" says ShiHaia, happily, before jumping away (as these people tend to do).
"Thoughts?" asks Kuylen.
"When they see us killing the zeitonians, the jedi will engage us. In fact they'll engage at any eye contact. Then the elder will most probably rally with them if we don't get to him in time. YOu know...enemy of my enemies...." says Takuan
(oh..i think another line in my vision was said...i'd best check if it's there..)
Kuylen snorts. "Then let them ally if they do; if not with the Elder then with another. The Jedi are all the same. Once we start burning this city they'll come out to try and stop our forces. You can be sure- THEY will care about the things we don't give a damn about. The advantage is still ours.
And by all means, Galder- if you see them, kill them."
