You have felt this uncomfortable since the START, Takuan. And you know whatever it is has slipped by even Saar. What bastard plan has this Jedi hatched?

"Kuylen, I sense something..." Galder suddenly says, looking around, confused. "Something wrong..."

He breaks back into normal speech.

"You worry too much, Galder!" he says, before returning to the obscure language...

"i don't know" says Takuan to Saar
"but it's definitely not good...Maybe we shouldn't be split like this"

Saar sees Chion's expression.

"Check the lower level," he says to you, Takuan.

Rah enters the room to hear Saar instruction to Takuan and says "I'll go with him." and then adds "I do hope they've not planted a big bomb and left Marcus and Xeth as sacrificial decoys..."

"why would they..these two carry nothing on them" says TAkuan while he walks to the lower levels, very cautious.

Whoa, Rah, you were heading to Kuylen, remember? You aren't up there with Saar. You can hear the booming of his voice in an obscure alien language, just ahead...

You head down to the control deck, Takuan. It is very quiet; the controls make no background noise. Everything seems eerily still...

TAkuan looks carefully around, to see if anything looks out of the ordinary in that room.

(i assume i can't reach out with the force at all)

You can use the force to feel things out just fine- it is the predictive stuff- danger sense, preternatural reflexes- that are impaired.

"If you insist..." Galder replies, trying to figure out what or where the static energy is coming from.

Takuan advances in the room..checking the corners and other possibly unseen spots

Rah enters the room and looks over to Kuylen and Galder are.

The noise where Kuylen is is becoming louder and louder as his voice seems to mingle with the stone and takes on a life of its own. And the feeling of pressure and static charge increases...

"Ah, Rah, you have joined us..." says Kuylen, as you enter. "Both of you remember... the Master is mine..."

so..i find nothing in that room?

"What? You mean the other Jedi have entered?" Galder asks.

"Nothing was ever going to prevent this moment!" announces Kuylen, before returning to his incantations.

Takuan, you thought for a moment you saw... something... but your senses are confused and distracted, trying to make sense of things. Something you are missing...

well...takuan goes towards whatever it is he though seeing

Rah just stands in awe of Kuylen...

"Now is our time..." states Kuylen, simply. For a moment, there is a flicker of light from the great doors to the tomb.

Takuan, you are about to peer down...

... when you hear a lightsabre igniting from above, and a moment later, a terrible scream of pain...

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
