It's about time, my goodness... it could very well be more than that, Gambit's series started out like that and now there's a whole bunch and it keeps on going. It got much better too and the artists are better, she is long over due for this and I predict the same for her.

PS I just recieved my Gambit and the Shadow King hard cover 'comic' and it's so cute, Gambit rescues Storm and they are on a little adventure, he loves her!

maybe but this is her as a child and as a child is when she met shadow king- maybe even black panther they had a breif relationship when she was younger

maybe we get to see her when she lived w/ her parents- have they ever been in the comics- and also the original x-men met ororo when she was a child, they asked xavier if she could join the team but he said it would be too much of a culture shock

Her parents were briefly in the comics. Look at her bio on uncannyxmen.net. Also, Xavier went to her in Africa when she was being worshipped as a Goddess by the Kenyan tribe.

He offered her a chance to change the world as a greater good and said that she was not living in reality. That she was not a Goddess, but a mutant. She then took the offer.

Only after the Nanny incident was she reverted into a child and she ran into Remy in Cairo where she brought him back to the mansion with her.

no, your right there but ororo worked w/ the x-men before she became one. she was helping the original stop a villian in cairo. the original noticed her potential and asked xavier if she could join the x-men but he said they she wasn't ready for the culture shock and change. years later when the original x-men were captured he was forced to ask her to join. i think we might be seeing appearances from xavier since she pickpocketed him, shadow king, candra, black panther, and the original x-men.

idk i hope we get to see more of storms past in the desert and her theiving years. maybe she will use her powers in this

from the pic i'd say shes too young to be using her powers... besides it seems like a better idea to have her rely on her wits rather than her powers...

But they'll willingly publish a 4 part prequel to Storm's life.
