What was the best vacation you ever had?

Oh don't get me wrong Ush, I probably would use public transport if it were at all reliable. But if I want to take a bus to my local office which is just over 5 miles away, I can drive it in about 10-15 minutes or I can take a 90 minute bus journey and change buses once.

Now we're talking a journey here that is between two fairly large towns, Dartford and Sidcup and that's just ridiculous.

If I wanted to go to Manchester, I'd have to take a train into London, a tube across London and then another train to Manchester. On top of that, if I have a meeting at 98am, I'd have to leave the night before and stay in a hotel. With my car, I can leave at 5am and still get breakfast in the West Gorton Office in Manchester before the meeting.

Public transport needs to meet the needs of the Public, tight now it doesn't do that and no government has ever really done anything about changing that.
This has been a Political Broadcast by RC...
😂

You're right of course. It's the future, but here and now it is thoroughly reprehensible.

Sooooo, I'll just be takin' me car then... 😂

😂 😂 😂

That was great, Ush ! (sorry about the gremlins, got carried away)

Hmph

Oh don't hmph me RC. I was just laughing at a little funny thing. The only train we have around here is an excursion dinner train through the countryside that everybody thinks is so quaint. You have to remember the stupid american mentality here, dear. 😛

The Human factor will ruin everything...

Well remember The Fly ? That would have worked great....except for the fly. That was the fly factor.

Egad, she is right!

Eugh, nice.

Quaint, you Americans love quaint don't ya!

Their like of it is quaint...

You've been spending too much time around queeq.

Ho ho ho...

Funny huh? Well, you explain to her that England isn't all thatched cottages onm the countryside!!!

Dim- the UK is the second most urbanised country in the world. We simply have no room left.

Still..it's lovely 😄

Well, if you ever lived here I think you would change your mind. 🙄

Hey...I thought England was all thatched cottages in the countryside too....WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!! 🙁
