Smith may not be taking over everyone

Why would Bane decompose? (I assume this is based on what Neo said about it felt like dying)
But wouldnt that just be his (neo's) mind dying, as Smith's program comes to life as it copies to him.
Sorry if there is actual proof that he would decompose I missed out on.

She is not referring to "here" as in a particular spot (eg, look at the pee stain my dog left on the carpet, right here) but rather a general place (eg, wow, this is a nice house. yeah, i live here) She is referring to the Matrix as HERE, which is contrasted by "there", the SOURCE, the machine mainframe...think of "here" as the matrix, and listen to the .wav again...She is saying that the Source is autonomous of the Matrix, thus, they can stay here, in the matrix, or go there, return to the SOURCE...

I think they stay in hiding, caue they are subject to be deleted.

Maybe seroph pretects that world. That is why we see him with trinity and morpheus when they go looking for neo.

no, they are all IN the matrix...just the location has changed...the routing and security levels may have changed, but they are still within the matrix

Have you noticed neo does not come thru a door. He only opens it. he just apears in the room. And from the time he exits the room until we see the other door blow off, where is he.

when the door opens, neo is already in the air, and you don't see any bright light or computer monitors. just a white room.

But those ghost don't stay there do they. If that was the case, they would be out in the open.

What if club hell is part of this exile. When a program is breaking down or or replaced, they can hide there or return to the mainframe.
And you only see the ghost when the system is assimilating the the rogue programs.

So as long as those rogues don't mess with the structure of the matrix, they can continue in this place.
