Can we please close down the whole tooth conversation?? I got the unhappy message from my dentist that I need to have a root canal done in a molar... WAAAAAH!!! And lil' me has never done that before.. waaah!!

I get jittery just thinking of that large syringe, all gleamy metal, with that looooong pointy end.. WAAAH!

(I like to give pain, and I don't mind needles at all, but hell, sharp objects inserted into mouth?? I think not!)

I didn't have a big syringe, Supa..and mine didn't even really hurt. Don't worry. I think they make it sound worse than it is.

Well I never had a root canal, Supa....but when I have had cavaties filled, my dentist gave me laughing gas, then stuck the novacaine in. Like double anesthesia. It was no problemo. Might want to ask them about it.

I've had them all; you, too, will survive. They now drown you in novocaine, so you won't feel anything. It's hearing the drill that makes you feel all creepy and crawly. I'm going through the process of having a molar crowned after breaking off one end munching chocolae covered almonds last week. Got a temporary crown on Tuesday; final crown in 2 weeks. 😛
