i never liked evanescence coz of the facial piercing...
i like them coz of their attitude, their talent and their music.
and they r gothic for me becoz of their songs,lyrics,and videos!
if she likes the piercing on her face.....

attitude...what attitude? they are bland.

talent? you call attempting (and failing) to rip-off Lacuna Coil talent? and Amy Lee is a moderately talented vocalist, but she isnt anywhere near as good as she thinks she is.

music? they are just writing pop songs, then throwing in some guitars and piano and writing it off as rock.

videos? The first one they did was horribly corny, the second was a wannabe Linkin Park style faux-performance, and the latest one is as dull and uninspiring as the song it is set to.

even if she is ,she has every right to be,she is 21 i guess and so is britney(i think so) compare thoes two ,duh amy is more talented.
and there are sooo many singers who are 21 and not as much talented as she is.
of course she is not yet as good as celine dion, but I say her voice is loud , clear and uniqe.I really think she needs afew more months or even years to be as good as many bigger singers.
she might not be that good but she will be after afew more songs. 🙂

i think her videos are beautiful and in "bring me to life"'s case, have a strinking resemblance with batman! "going under" wasn't one of their best videos but "my immortal" was a well done pleasant serene kind of thing....perfect for the song and batsy
