I'm sure it has a use somewhere.

We went ski-ing in Austria back in february and by the time we had come through the blizzard on the ski-lift, I was white from head to toe and Rachel and I came off the bottom shouting "I am a snowman" in German! We were bored! And very cold! We needed something to do!

See, told you.

Does that actually quantify as a 'use'?

Yes! Anything that gets the attention of starnge German people and makes them laugh at you is definitely a use!

I remember when we were in Austria with the school. We took the chair lift up the mountain and we kept opening the gate.

Anyway, the Austrian guy was coming down on the lift and kept shouting Hello at us, so we shouted Hello back.

Anyway, apparently, according to our German Teacher, that was what they shout instead of "Oi" when they want to warn you of a danger?? Go figure huh.

Ha ha! Good story.

Why Yes! I only did the course to get on the trip to Austria, it was a filler.

Actually I was answering Ush's question. Of course I didnt get a higher grade than you! I never did german remember. I did french. I was good at that!

I have Bs in French and Latin.

Never did latin either. They didnt do it at my old school. They do it at my new school though. And greek. I'm just a french girl I'm afraid. Got an A*
