Favorite Foods?

OK, a more serious topic: What is your favorite food or meal to cook at home or to eat out?

My favorite meals out are, in no particular order;

Chicken Korma from the local Curry house (The Kent Curry House)
A nice thick fillet steak, cooked blue with a baked potatoe and all the bits.
Philly Steak Sandwiches.
If I'm cooking at home, I'd much rather have a big baked potatoe with cheese or coleslaw on a bed of salad than anything else.

Coquille St. Jacques...

That surprises me a lot actually. Not sure why, but a good call.

My favorites..

Sesame Chicken
Cheesburgers
Enchildas Rancheras
Artichoke Dip.

Sadl,y fancy food cocks my stomach up.

beef, pizza, mouzaka(greek dish) and spagetti and bolognese without garlic. Cant stand garlic it gives a metal taste to he meal. oh and I like fried chicken and gravey southern style.

Anything you can get through a drive thru huh Dim?

Ush, that was what surprised me about you choice. I'm a big fan or garlic. When I make Garlic bread I always go OTT on the grushed garlic, but it tastes devine.

Can highly recomment toasted garlic cloves, they go very sweet and you can eat it whole without blowing your head off.

Banana smoothies,
Fig rolls
Jelly (Im a big kid)
Vegetable enchiladas and sour cream
Mashed potato
And banabas and custard.
Oh and bakewell tart.
And celery.
And vegetable samosas.
And sweet and sour vegetables.
Oh and I love pizza covered in really hot chilli peppers! Yum!

Actually I'm laying off drive thrus..thank you very much! hmph.

Me too Dim! I know exactly hoe you feel!

real food, reautaurant or homecooked, but no fast food except egg rolls with sweet/sour sauce. 😄

Dim, you're off Drive Thru?

You mean now you actually get out of the car and walk into Burger King. Well that is a step in the right direction... 😂 🤣 😂

Actually I don't eat fast food, it gives me serious indigestion.

Number one would have to be my mom's thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The best.

Also -

-My crabcakes, crab imperial stuffed into jumbo shrimp or flounder or mushrooms
-quesadillas - crab or bean & cheese
-crab & artichoke dip with parmesan cheese
-tommy's sirloin steak on the grill with my bourbon mushrooms and sauteed onions
-seafood alfredo or really good clams in red sauce with linguini
-big steamed shrimp with lots of old bay and cold beer
-pork & shrimp pot stickers, deep fried shrimp balls and dragons breath soup

pretty much anything except: coconut and brussel sprouts. I will eat anything except those two things.

Hmmmm, the girl likes sea food, for sure! 🙂

Oh yes but I also like:

-pork tenderloin kabobs with pineapple and mandarin orange sections
-hungarian goulash
-roast chicken or cornish hens with wild rice stuffing
-eggplant parmesan
-roasted mixed vegetables (usually in the winter when a lot of root vegetables are in, like red beets, butternut squash, carrots, all cut up and mixed together, drizzled with a little bit of olive oil, some rosemary, minced garlic, bake it all up...yummmmmmm)

Anybody else getting hungry ? 😂

OK, let's go to dinner, you can order... 😄

Except I can't pronounce half the wines.... 🙁

Hungarian goulash BAAAAAARRRRFFFFF.
Sea food, even though I always lived at the west coast of Norway, I prefer the sea food to be in the place they came from under water and out of sight.
Give me meat and not from EU countries that would be genocide 😄
And Gundy you are not suppose to pronounce the wines you shall drink them.
😎

Sea food! Yuk! Just the smell of fish is enough to make me sick! And meat? Whether from an EU country or not, I would rather you kept it away from me thank you!

I'm AMAZED I didn't spot there was no meat in your list, Edna... I'm losing it..
