What matter to me is that how I look up to them as a character in their story... not as ... how they appear as 'ass' to others... and what could they do beyond what others expected them to be.

Well, X-Men TAS has similar description to the X-Men Comics ... maybe they'll do similar thoughts in the movie ... to have it a sense.

we all know that when Jean Grey was dying in the shuttle ... she was helped by the Phoenix Force for a price ... eventually making herself the Phoenix... later on... (not right after).... she was stalked by a villain called Mastermind ... illusioned her in an 18th century motiff... and there she became the Black Queen...

... so for a revenge after defeating the villain ... she transformed herself into Dark Phoenix... a mutant who lost her moral code... and fight against the X-Men.

If both the TAS and the Comics have the same description for the Phoenix Saga... wouldn't it sound rediculous if they do a perfect alteration in the movie? How can it be called a Saga then... if it will be so?
