all the days in a year have the names of Saints. we europeans celebrate them, it is the nameday 🙂 so we usually give flowers and cakes and presents to the person who has the same name on this day- i get the Amadeus DVD 😄 wheee!

i spent 3 years in or around naples, italy =/
i got up to florence, and sometimes even as far as ramstein in germany

and i remember them celebrating the saints days alot.i just had never
heard any of them refer to it as nameday.

and in Germany too. they call it Namenstag. 🙂 right, Legna? 😄

Right it's called Namenstag.
But in germany we don't celebrate it much....not anymore. I know vaguely when mine is , i think about the 11-16 march.

yeah that's right vampiree! We're quite close, cause i live ,i think a bit near the central of germany so it isn't a long way to poland from there.

I live in Würzburg. It's in lower franconia...hmm that doesn't tell you much does it? Do you know Bavaria (where the octobrefest is) ? Lower franconia is a part of that

Wow....if I see it right it's kinda close to my city. You see frankfurt? If you go from there a little bit left then there should be WÜ...or was it right?..well anyway I'm not good with maps.
