what do you carry on you or in your car for self defense?

I have about 3 nice sized sharp pocket knives in my various pockets.

I have a knife as well.

i carry a 6 cell mag lite. you know, the one thats as long as your forearm?

Yeah, we've got some in the garage.

I also have some brass knuckles somewhere

all I have is my kick ass style...dont think its going help me any though

you aint allowed to carry any kind of weapons here in Norway, we past that time when the Viking age ended

But you Viking men should carry swords or something.

they did, but Norwegian carrying weapons ended when the Viking area ended. We kind of developed to a mor civilized stage
