Opening Crawls???

Does anyone, like me, think that with all these EU novels, someone would have thought it a good idea to put an opening crawl(like the movies) before the stories kick off? I think it would be a good idea for one, kinda sets the scene.

I would like them as well, even if just to remind you what genre of books you're reading.
