So how do you explain stooling and other 'hard' sports? shit
It's called having a species that is so socially sophisticated and intelligent that we, quite frequently, go against the grain of our genetic programming.
Another example would be females who stay in physically abusive relationships with children involved. In the wild, pretty much any other female mammal would quickly take the offspring as far away as possible from the violent male...because that's what they are programmed to do. (Bears, badgers, and cats are the first mammals that come to mind) Female humans, through sophisticated social mechanisms, seem to linger around and hope to alter the behavior of the violent male, risking injury to her self and the offspring...which goes against what we are programmed, instinctually, to do.
Weird, isn't it?
This is also, but not directly, why some humans like feces, physical abuse, etc.
