I think Scream might have been a little underated. It was popular when it came out but now everyone says it sucks.

**** everybody. It's a stroke of genius.

They suffer from "M. Night Syndrome" just too dependaent on their surpise endings and Scream 3 was just crap.

M. Night is a master storyteller. Surprise endings are only in 2 of his 4 movies. "The Sixth Sense" and "The Village".

wow some really good choices here especially for the hills have eyes and the wicker man...I hardly know anyone who has seen them and it's a shame such gems are lost.

I don't think anyone will agree with me here, because I'm the only person I know who thinks this movie is good at all. it's called Blood Sucking Freaks

...yes it's bad bad bad..but some bits I find incredibly funny while some of the scenes really unnerved me..not because it looked scary (which it didn't) it was because of the idea of what if some one really did these things?...if it was remade Im sure it would scare the crap out of any one..but as it is..it's pretty stinky.

also found The Killer Nerd to be one of my personal favorites as well.

The first scream is ace, great movie. The sequels are just more of the same, didn't add anything, in fact, the "surprise killers" just got more and more idiotic with each movie.

Well, unbreakables revelation of Sam Jackson being the cause of all the catastrophies was supposed to be a surprise as well.

The village ending wasn't as surprising as it was stupid. As Ebert said, one step above the narrative ladder of "it was all a dream".

And, lets be honest, no one would remember the sixth sense if it weren't for its ending.

and people being "shocked" by the dead people. god, some people are a bit too sensetive

i like 'night of the living dead' 1990 . I thought it was very well done and the different ending was great.

i'm going to have to say that Ravenous is one of my favourite movies, dispite the rather unfavourable veiw it gets from most horror movie fans

Creepshow is very underrated. It is the perfect homage to E.C. comics and the legacy it has established after 50 years. Plus, I love the campy-ness of it.

"I do completely, its so conflicting. I see that alot, working at a video store. Someone will rent TCM or some other great horror movie, with scream 3 or jeepers creepers or, i know what you did last summer...and i just hope he likes TCM more....for his sake."

I THINK THE TCM IS A GREAT MOVIE... BUT I MUCH PREFER MOVIES LIKE I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER.
I CAN'T WATCH TCM OVER AND OVER AGAIN........... BECOMES A PAIN IN THE ASS AFER ALL THOSE CLOSE UP'S AND SCREAMING AT THE TABLE................................

The remake was much better i felt.
.................... just my opnion.

I think "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER" is very under rated.

I agree with you there that was a pretty good movie. The Colonel was a pure physcopath and the actor pulled him off as one. Definately underrated.

I also have to throw out "May" as a very underrated horror film. One of the best I've seen in recent years. Very disturbing and heartfelt.

Yeah. May was pretty out there. Especially when she cut out her own eyeball. That was a "shudder-and-cringe" part for the books.

tcm 2
driller killer

The Burning (80's)

3 i`d like to reccomend

fight for your life-check the thread i started on this for info and i implore everybody watch it

frightmare-one of the greatest non-jungle cannibal movies,up there with tcm and the hills have eys,and ****in scary to boot

last house on dead end st-probly one of the sickest movies made in the 70`s and a precursor to the guinea pig films,

The Fog and the changeling.

Peeping tom is amazing ,how can you forget that classic

"Surviving the Game" with Ice T. Imagine a combination of "The Most Dangerous Game" and "Deliverance" and you got this movie, with an urban twist. Ending kicked ass... 😄

also the woman in black
