I think Anakin with a little help from Palpatine(without Anakin knowing). Like Palps useing the force to freeze Dooku for a second so Ani can land a fatal blow. That way Ani will think he did it all on his own and become more arrogant.
Can he get any more arrogant? http://www.killermovies.com/forums/images/smilies/cartoon/tongue.gif
I think it will be Anakin, of course. Remember: There is always two of them, a master and an apprentice. In my opinion, Palpatine tells Anakin that in order to become his apprentice he must kill Dooku, like he did in Episode VI with Luke when he told him to kill Vader. So it means that maybe he had already turned to the Dark Side when he murdered Dooku.
its the symetry of the series. its how Luke helps to redeem him. I don't think Anakin has any time to be told to kill him if the rumors are true about the whereabouts of Palpatine at the very begininning of the film. You forget, Anakin has had a few years to work on his skills. He did quite well against Dooku the first time, Dooku was visibly tired after they fought. The script also contained info they couldn't exactly film where Anakin, while using the twin sabers, is holding Dooku in front of him, keeping him from stepping to either side. GL just couldn't find a way to actually film it. And we all know Anakin does not like being corrected or bested. You try to put him down and he'll come back with a vengence. This is evidenced by his buffing up during the wars and he no doubt has been training with his saber every chance he gets. Episode II was a transitional period for Anakin, the first steps to his turning to the Dark Side and reaching his full power. He's been pushed to his limits. Episode III will reveal an Anakin that is no where near what we've seen of him so far. He will not be whiney. He'll be hardened, colder. And certainly full of anger. You can see the change in the picture of him standing in Palpatine's office. Much more serious, perhaps not mature, but certainly grown up. I don't think after all of this build up in him that he will have very much trouble dispatching with the old man. Anakin is going to make Dooku pay for the loss of his arm with his life, and I doubt he'll even break a sweat.
please, he dropped obi-wan and sounded like he wasn't even out of breath when he taunted Anakin for saving obi-wan. Anakin lasted nearly twice as long.
and "Just the beginning" meant the Clone Wars and the amount of damage the Sith are planning to do to the Jedi. That was hardly "I'll finish you later" or "until we meet again". It wasn't a personal remark to Yoda. I was just a general taunt meaning your victory here is pointless because we'll win. Which is funny since Dooku is just playing his part in letting the Jedi think the Clone Wars are anything other than a huge distraction to ensure Palpatine's rise to Emperor.
How I see it, I think both Anakin and Obi were more fatigued by battle than Dooku was. Yoda on the other hand dindt do too much more than bouncing around. And I agree with mephistodesigns about that Dooku didnt talk about until next time with this is just the begining. It was more about that the process of Palpatine couping the galaxy just had begun
