The kissers: Colossus and Rogue

Category: Kiss to gain power as part of X-Men strategy.

Issue: Uncanny X-Men #247

Set up: The X-Men were in a battle with Master Mold, who pounded Colossus into the ground. Colossus was shaken up and still in armored form as he tried to pull himself out of the ground.

The kiss: Rogue kissed Colossus, mouth to mouth with a gloved left hand on his cheek. In the panel with the kiss, Rogue explained, "Ain't got that kind'a time, sugar. Sorry 'bout this, but since you're in no shape t' use your power ... ah hope you won't mind me borrowin' it."
Colossus' face had turned to flesh, and Rogue's neck, lower jaw, and part of ear had turned to steel while her upper face was still flesh.

Result: Rogue absorbed Colossus and flew up in fully armored form.
Rogue said, "Someday, sweetie, ah just gotta find a way to smooch that don't instantly zap the guy I'm smoochin'!" Colossus was lying on the ground, out cold. After Rogue used the full speed hit from outer space tactic on Master Mold, we saw Colossus back in armored form and Rogue back to normal.

Category: Kiss to gain information

Issue: X-Men Vs. The Avengers #3

Set up: Doctor Druid stowed away on the Blackbird and mentally masked his presence from the X-Men. Eventually, Magneto detected him. The X-Men wanted to know what he was up to.

The kiss: Rogue kissed Doctor Druid on his forehead.

Result: Rogue drained Doctor Druid of his thoughts, his powers, and his consciousness. His head slumped (Magneto had restrained Dr. Druid's body).

Rogue: "My ... mind!"
Magneto: "Rogue! Are you all right?"
Rogue: "What an absurd question ... I've never been better! We've nothing to fear from Anthony Druid. We interrupted his telepathic contact with the Avengers before he could reveal our location. Your psychic shields are quite strong, Magneto ... Did you know that?"
Doctor Druid remained unconscious long enough for the X-Men to land the Blackbird and be long gone.

The kissers: Freddy and Rogue

Category: Romantic

Issue: Classic X-Men #44

Set up: Rogue and Freddy were at the tree with the rope at the cliff. Freddy tried to kiss Rogue, who stopped him. Freddy said, "Ahww... You take risks everywhere else! I dare you!"

The kiss: Rogue kissed Freddy, mouth to mouth.

Result: Freddy passed out. Rogue almost fell off the cliff as all of Freddy's memories ran in her mind. Rogue cried for a long time, mourning the normal life she will never have, until she felt his memories fading. Freddy woke up after Rogue left.

The kissers: Gambit and Rogue

Category: Romantic

Issue: Marvel Riot #1

Set up: Parody of the Age of Apocalypse, an alternate reality.
Previously, Gambit licked Rogue's foot.

The kiss: Rogue and Gambit kissed while everybody, including Magneto, was too busy to notice.

Result: Rogue and Gambit sweated profusely. Nothing else.

Category: Forced by an enemy

Issue: Uncanny X-Men #350

Set up: Magneto, disguised as Erik the Red, put Gambit on "trial". He forced Rogue to approach Gambit, who was bound in a guillotine.

The kiss: Magneto forced Rogue and Gambit to kiss, mouth to mouth.

Result: Rogue absorbed Gambit's memories and related some of them as a "witness" in the "trial". Rogue also absorbed Gambit's powers and used them after Gambit was conscious and talking (unknown if he had passed out or not).

Issue: X-Men '97 Annual

Set up: The X-Men's perceptions were being altered by the GamesMaster so that the X-Men believed that they had everything they had struggled for. Gambit was cooking gumbo and Rogue was tasting. They got onto the subject of their mutual devotion to each other.

The kiss: Gambit and Rogue kissed, mouth to mouth. She had a bare hand on his bare neck. He had a bare hand on her bare lower back.

Result: No absorption. GamesMaster held Rogue's power in check.

that's the thing with rogue... she's always all like: OH MY GOD, I'M SO POOR, I CAN'T TOUCH ANBODY, I CAN'T KISS ANYBODY

and then she kisses anytihng that comes in her way... weird...

she's always in a great mood Vampiree.... only she's hurt when she realizes she can't kiss anyone or be touched by anyone ❌

yeah, but only in the comics. they even kissed a couple of times 😊 but in evolution, she still absorbs him, while he's in his metal form... that sucks...
