rogue was never adopted.. she was just taken care of by her.
they never said whether she was the real mom, or just a step-mom
thing in the comics.. in the cartoons (not evo) she was considered the
real mom..

gambit wasnt really recruited, he just kinda ran into them and met
rogue which made him hang around, he did help raise stormy though
when they were theives back in the day. uhmm wondering if i'm missin
anything... oh yeah, cartoons he was recruited by storm and xavier.
