A low growl emitted deep within her throat as he returned the punch and held her to the ground. James was right... so what? You should only kill to feed... who cares? You should let him win this... Never. Cera fought not only with James but with herself. But whatever had come over her was definitely winning. Cera laid still under him, another evil scheme evolving in her mind. "Fine..." she retorted angrily, "Now get off of me."
"Scared? You think I'm scared? I'm not afraid of you James. You want to know what's up? hmm? Fine I'll tell you what's up.. I was a useless vampire, pointless, just a souless being. But then something changed, I can't describe it, but it was... it was amazing, I was meaningless no more.. so now I can truly 'fix my future.'" her voice was sinister, and she struggled once more to push him off.
Friend... She and that word had rarely been used in a sentence together unless it had 'not a' in between the two. But whatever had taken over her didn't care. "Friend...? I have no friends..." Cera suddenly got a rush of energy, and in another attempt to throw him off, she successfully got a arm out. With that she twisted onto her back to face James and hit him once again across the face.
Cera growled again, but it wasn't as fierce as before. She contemplated her choices... laying there pinned to the floor... or calm down and be let up...but she would have to give in to his control. Lose lose situation in her eyes. Cera gave a heavy sigh, and glared at James, "Fine... Now please let me up... this isn't the most comfortable position..."
Finally... Cera let him help her up. "Why are you so nosey anyway?" she asked partly curious, and partly to not tell him her answer to his question. Cera was calm now... but she couldn't hold everything in forever. This monster inside of her was growing. It was starting to control her, the timid girl from before was lost somewhere deep, and was trying to come back.
Indeed he did... He was probably the closest thing she had. Cera looked back at him, holding his gaze. What was she doing?... I have to do this... He want's to be your friend... and betray you, just like all of the others.... He wouldn't do that... You know he would... Just tell him... No!.... He's worried about you.... No, he doesn't care about you. The war inside her head raged on, and it was all starting to be too much for Cera. She couldn't take it anymore, her mind and body started shutting down. The room spun. She started to sway and in an attempt to steady herself she collapsed to the ground. The room went black, an Cera went limp and unconcious on the floor.
