Darkclaw looked at the book that Cammille was reading. "Vampirism" he said. "Now why would you be looking at that?" He asked suspiciously.

"i dont know just wanted it to read it..have a set i gess.."she sead placeing the book away into her bag and took a sip of her water."sooyou come to the bar often??"she ask trying to chan the subjet.

Darkclaw kept his eyes on the book. 'it's obvious she's not telling me something' he thought to himself. He looked up and said: "umm yeah sometimes just to drink normal drinks and sometimes to drink... yeah" he said awkwardly. "What are you doing here" Darkclaw asked.

"i dont knowi like to come hear to read my books and have a drink of water when im reading thats all."She sead softly with a smile. She didnt know what he was thinking she wished she did.

"You must take me for a fool," He said turning from the window towards her general direction. "There is more to being a vampire than just biting and spreading our infection. Yes infection. We are a disease, a cancer, a virus with no end in sight. But there is more to us than just teeth and bats. We are tissues, hearts, organs. But most of all we are human. Emotions are an extension to our beings, but they are weakness. Because although we may be humans, our lives are dedicated to pain. To others..." he hesitated and then turned to the window once more"...and to ourselves."

His robe began to wiggle and squirm. The velvet exterior became lighter in color and finally it became an thin see through tissue. Certain ridges formed from the back, like a hand slowly opening. The hood retracted to high ridge on the back of his neck. The noises were mostly subtle. When this was finally complete, his cloak became two very large wings: bat wings. He spread them out, but not fully for the room wouldn't allow it. He returned to fold his wings around his neck, but did not turn around. "Even I have my skeletons..."

Her body quivered and she looked towards the ground. Her head spun, in every direction, at every speed. What he said had hurt. Most probably because it was so very true...but then...what was pain? What was real pain? She managed to step forward, and reach her arm out. She wanted to touch him.. never had she heard the truth in such a raw form. She pulled her hand back, and held it to her chest. She tore her gaze away from the window, just before falling to her knees.

" Im...sorry. So sorry. "

She felt more halpless now then she ever had. More stupid, spoiled, obnoxious. At that moment Shona beleived she didn't even deserve to be in his prescense. How come the words that Leinhart had just flooded her with made so much sense? They poisened her blood, and engraved themselves onto her cold, death seeking heart. For once she couldnt simply avoid what seemed to be a fear of not knowing where to go next.

Leinhart turned and knelt down infront of her. He moved a soft warm hand under her chin and brought her eyes to meet his. His gaze was soft, and comforting balanced out with smooth and soft contours of his face. He seemed almost angelic. "Do not cry," he whispered wiping away a tear from her eye, "you feel pain because you choose to. Choose it no more," and he rose her and turned her towards the door; his wings beginning to spread.

The light from the full day was beginning to end and the sun had almost set below the horizon. "Come, and fly with me. Rid yourself of the troubles that bind you to this pain filled world. Tear away the shackles that bring you mourning and sadness." His lips now barely touched her ears, "tear away the world..."

Two pools of watering blue beheld the dimensions of his now kind face. She closed them for just a moment to take his hand in her own as he touched her face. Maybe she could forget this pain, this torment binding her to the tears that so often begged to stain her pale face. Maybe, for now. Maybe...her eyes widened. Maybe forever. She stood, clinging to Leinhart tightly.

" Please." She whispered. " Take me away."

He smiled and enveloped his wings around her. There was a soft rumbling, and then silence. When he opened his wings, they were no longer in the apartment, but soaring high above the city. The moon had now begun rising, and the city was dotted with little white lights.

The wind beneath his large wings, fully extended, made a soft rippling noise. The breeze was most comforting, as the light of the moon reflected off the water of a nearby lake. Leinhart glided down till his feet skidded across the surface of water, "Stretch out yours hands, and feel freedom..."

Shona opened her tightly closed eyes, and then reached out for Leinhart, first fearing she would fall. Something about this was odd though....she knew in the back of her mind her would not let her fall. She would be alright. Slowly, nervously, she extended her arms, and let the breeze rushed upon her face and her fingertips brushed the surface of the cool water. A smile spread its way across her face, and melted down through her whole body. A quiet laugh escaped her thaoat..a curious and foreign thing to her. Again she closed her eyes, just enjoying this sensations. Her mind was cleared, and it seemed as if nothing could ruin this. There was no pain here.... only the joy of a peaceful mindset, and the most amazing vampire she had ever met.

When he reached the end of the lake he gently set her down on a soft patch of grass that bordered the soft sandy beach of the lake. "You have but tasted the greatness of freedom. But you are like a dove chained to a cage. You yearn release, but what binds you keeps you from achieving these goals. To truly gain freedom, you must be willing to sacrifise all for it. Your family, friends, even yourself." He stretched his wings out once more, and the wrapped them around his body. He walked towards the lake, but stopped before touching it. He turned to Shona and said, "come, I wish to show you something."

Shona bent, and let her fingers graze the soft grass bfore standing. The moon above them shone so bright, so beautiful. It was as if time had stopped just to let her enjoy this. She looked up tentitively at Leinhart and nodded. She knew inside her Aroura had fallen to a silent state. She took a step forward, almost seeming like she was learning to walk again. Once again his words processed through her mind. As she reached him, she gazed into the lake and took in a shallow breath. Something he had jut said nipped at her mind.
Will i have to give you up?
She thought, lettnig her eyes fall upon Leinhart.

Leinhart smiled, the warmth of her touch filled him with old memories. He stretched out his arm and pointed to a ripple in the water. "At times you don't know what caused it, but you know it was made for greatness. How do you know? Look at the waves it creates. The smallest pebble can leave the largest mark. But the pebble does not say to himself, 'I will fall so that others can see.' Because the water will consume him, and you will not see the waves but you will hear the drop. But rather the pebble that falls because he sees it in his purpose to fall, will always leave the greatest mark." He stepped into the cold water, but it would not touch him.

"I will show you to be the humble pebble. The one with the greatest mark," He turned, the water continuing to surround and move around him, but not touch him. He stretched out his hand once more and said, "Do you wish to learn?"
