Cera wedged her foot in the door frame, so it wouldnt be able to close. So many emotions flooded her mind, she couldnt believe that it was him. She was confused and angered, yet happy in a way. Cera glared at James, but she could barely speak as if all her words escaped her somehow. "This... this isn't about me and Kai or.. or you and me... you... you lied..." she almost sounded defeated.
JAems sighed "I did not lie... i wanted to die.. but you did not kill me.. you pushed me into the shadows....." James said and walked into the house out of sight.
Kai sighed and rest his hand on Cera's Shoulder "Cera, He knew Camille before Camille even knew what a vampire was, it is only natual that they harvest feelings fr eachother... please come with me.. James gave me his house... you are welcome to stay"
Cera violently shook Kai's hand off of her shoulder ignoring what he had said. "First you beg me to kill you! Then you make me believe that I murdered a good friend?!" she yelled at James' back as he walked away. "I thought you were better than that James! I thought that maybe I could trust you! But I was wrong! How dare you take advantage of my trust!" Her body was tense, her right hand was clenched in a fist, her nails digging into her palm, and her eyes were burning with hot tears of fury.
Kai sighed and took hold of her arm and pulled her away from the house with ease. "Cera... listen to me... and dont attempt to do anything, i am more than strong enough to restrain you..." He said "James is a good person, do not say otherwise.. When you 'killed' him, you trapped him in the shadows... he came back and got back with his love, Camille. You have me, not James... James is the best person i have ever known, do not make me regret tonight..." he let go of her arm and started off for James' house, of which was now his.
She was not going to give this up that easily, and why must everyone underestimate her power? This was definitely not the time for such things. Cera was becoming distraught at Kai's words, "Best person?" she asked slowly. "Best person?!" her voice became louder, "I want an answer James! How could you lie to me like that?! How could you let me go on for days, thinking that I killed someone I loved?!"
"I don't care who he loves!" she shrieked back to Kai but her voice suddenly became weak, "I thought he was my friend... but he deceived me... just like all of the others... he is no different than the rest." The last statement came out as nothing more than a barely audible whisper. Slowly, her fist and body loosened, and her face went blank and unreadable as now she held or showed no emotion.
So he was right, she needed to forget him. Kai had been there for her...but so was James. What if Kai would end up like the rest... The rest who tore love away from her, and took it out of her reach. She didn't know if her heart could withstand it once more. But who cared anymore? Hmm... interesting, who did care? No one. Cera realized she didn't either. She had possibly grown used to it now. Possibly. Who knows, but Cera passionately returned the kiss, one arm wrapping around his neck and the other was running through his hair, bringing him closer.
Kai walked into the bedroom and took his shirt off. He looked through the closet to see what all clothes James had. All black. Not his colors but they would do tomarrow night. Kai smiled and walked to the bed. He looked over at Cera, just noticing she was following him. "Cera?" he asked, wondering if she needed anything.
Cera strided into the room, "Yes?" she asked as she went closer to him. But Cera was not going to wait for an answer, she hadn't finished the kiss from earlier. Her fierce green eyes met his as she ran an ice cold hand across his cheek and through his hair. She then pulled him closer into a lustful kiss.
