Vrix smiled when he goth her com channel. He thought of this: 'Captain, I have sent the snipers up to the roof and have told Jak to go back to you so you know he is ok' He actually said: "Captain. I have set each guard with individual orders. Nothing outstanding. Just simple things like scout and sweeps. They dont know it. But they are all Decoys." He paused but he couldnt allow he to reply. Visibly letting Ozi know she was being contacted. "Jak can shield you mentally. But, dont reply visibly..., I plan to confound Ozi with the individual threats of the guards to make an opening for you. They all have orders to shoot if you come to harm. Though all were varients of that orders. My Lady. i will be there soon. There is something I must attend. Out!"
Jak kept up his metntal yield of Kiki's thoughts slightly concentrating less on the lie. He had a crash course in acting from Vrix. He smiled inwardly but looked shocked as the smashed body of team one's leader evaporated. He glanced at Kiki. All part of the act. ((Ozi should feel something is different but shouldnt be able to find out what))
She frowned and her eyes narrowed. "Come again? Is this some kind of joke?" She glanced back at Jak to see his reaction, and then turned back to Ozi. "You wouldn't give yourself up just for a kiss. It's a trick I know you better then that." Truth be told, she didn’t know if he was serious or not. She raised her gun and waited for his response. She didn’t notice her hands were shaking.
Jak watched in horror as Kiki stepped towards Ozi. He mentally asked her how she would take him down if he was distracted. Keeping the act up he still kept her thoughts hidden with a new lie. 'I, am going to sacrafice myself.' He simulated Kiki's thoughts to Ozi in place of her. He also opened the small com hidden behind his hair. "Vrix. I think it may be time..." He whispered hoping Ozi would hear. It. Vrix asked for the distraction. Ozi was about to get one as he slowly began to eas his hiding of every guards thoughts. Startig first with the guards that truly knew nothing. Then leaving the rest til Vrix was ready.
She responded to Jak as she drew closer to Ozi. 'Don't do anything. If he gets angry he might kill more of my men. Please, I don't want to loose anyone. If he pulls something then shoot him. I don't care if he hurts me.' She stopped a couple inches away from Ozi and looked up at him, waiting patiently.
Vrix stared at the Jacket and shirt and smiled taking his captain instead by the arm and wheeled her off to the side. He produced a small crystal and gave it to kiki. "It will temporarily stop him from location warping and temporarily weaken his mental abilities. Just smash it against his fore head. He will heal painfully with time." He turned to Jak and nodded. Then to Ozi. " Aresting you is not my job now. Its hers." He disappeared. Re-appearing beside Jak.
She looked at the crystal, then calmly placed it in her pocket. She pulled cuffs from her pocket and put then on Ozi's wrists behind his back. "Maybe later Vrix. I'll save it for a rainy day. Besides the prince wants him alive and well." She wasn't smiling, and her body was shaking. She handed Ozi off to one of her men and instructed him to take Ozi straight to the Prince. Her men moved to go back inside the building, but she stayed where she was starring at the ground.
