Kiki opened her eyes and blinked for a moment, trying to clear her vision, before looked over at him. She was still groggy from the pain killers she had been given. "What?...What did you call me?"

She blinked and looked up at him. “Umm.. Nothing. You owe me nothing. Come on, I’ll see you out.” She stood up and threw the file into the trash. “What did you say your name was?”

"Jason fenta," he winced in pain, "I could really use some pain relievers."

The nurse nodded and pulled a bottle out of a cabinet as they passed by. "Here. Take these. Once every 3-4 hours. And be a little more careful Mr. Fenta." She smiled and opened the front door for him.

"Thank you, happy new year!" walking out the door, he tripped on a rock and fell down, HARD. he got a concussion, then blacked out...

She blinked and looked down at him. "Oh my... This guy is a walking accident." She picked him up and carried him back into the infirmary, setting him down on the bed and waiting for one of the doctors to come in and look him over.

dreaming of his mother and the day she died, jason began to sob. he suddenly woke up in a hospital room. it was dark. the clock read 12:35.he had a bandage on his head.

"my head hurts, my arm is cut, oh, and i have a concussion. how do ya think i feel?!"

Benjii looked at her with tears in his eyes "i called you my love...i know you won't feel the same after what i've done but i thought i' show you my true emotions." Benjii walked slowly over to her trying not to scare her or to make her nervous.

She closed her eyes and sighed softly, her body tensing the closer he got. “I see..... Why are you doing this? I don’t want your sympathy.” She opened her eyes and looked up into his.

Benjii looked down with all seriousness "its not sympathy, this is what i felt for the longest time, Kiki, love i couldn't tell you" he wen to grab her hand but stopped for fear she might have gone into shock

She didn't move when he reached for her, only looked up at him with the same sadness in her eyes. Her voice was soft and scratchy from the strain to speak after the surgery. "Then show me."

"listen, sorry, i shouldnt have overreacted. hey, you wouldn't happen to know anything about that corporate building just down the street, would you?" jason tried hard not to smile. he knew it would give away the fact that he had gone in.

She sighed and looked down at the floor. "Yeah I do. In fact this building connects to that one. That building is crawling with vampires. No mortals are allowed inside but it's open to any immortal who wishes to live there. The Prince lives there too. Why are you so curious about it anyways?"

"listen lady, i don't know what your talkin about. vampires dont exist. if this is some kind of joke im not laughin." jason looked around for his things.

Benjii walked over to her slowly and kissed her gently showing how much he loved her, not worrying about anything or anybody else "is that good enough?"

Kiki shivered and looked up at him, nodding as best she could. "Yes... Yes that will do... Thank you Benjii."

The nurse jumped to her feet and took a hold of his good arm. "I'm not joking! I'm dead serious! Go and see if you don't believe me. Follow this hallway and you'll come to the immortal's infirmary. There is someone in there now, she'll show you."
