*Lexi brushed away the branches as she made her way through the woods. Her heavy boots made a soft impact on the pine needles that blanketed the ground below her. She narrowed her eyes as she could feel the breeze getting a little stronger.....there must be an opening, a clearing in the woods nearby.
She was about 5'9.....athletic build. Her hair cascaded down to her waist in long black ebony locks. Her hair usually covered most of her face, only showing her most noticeable feature: her eyes. Her eyes were a deep and bright emerald green color, unnaturally so. They were slightly slanted, accented by the egyptian styled eyeliner she wore around her eyes. She wore no other makeup, simply the eyeliner, which brought out the startling green of her eyes.
She wore a long black trench coat, made of a heavy cloth, that corsetted her waist. She wore a tight black leather corset underneath that was surprisingly comfortable to her. Next, she wore black pants, tight enough to show her figure, but loose enough for her to move, incase she had to fight, or worst yet: run. She wore heavy black boots that came up her calves and stopped just below her knee.
Below the surface of her clothing though, she hide blades, daggers, and knives...in every place she could hide them. She had them strapped around her forearms, under her coat, around her waist, around her boots, under her pant legs, and she had two sheathes on her back that hid two finely sharpened short swords. She always made sure she was prepared...but one of her favorite blades was her two sided blade....it was a long, semi circled blade that had two sharpened blades on each rounded end...that and her two long curved blades that were attached to her arms below her coat, rigged at the pull of a finger to slide out swiftly to deliver unexpected blows.
Lexi moved foward towards the clearing and as she came out of the trees, she could see the huge old church, looming up before an overcast black night sky. She let out a small sigh as she walked towards the church....she had needed a place to rest....to recouperate. She still had freshing crusting blood on her blades from an attach not two days earlier....
She was tired....weary from having to travel...to run from place to place. She despised Ellon for making her life this way, and she hated herself for not being strong enough to face him. She shook her head a little as if clearing her thoughts from it all, as if it would easy it and make it go away, bringing some relief.
She came to the heavy double doors of the church and paused for a moment. She wasn't sure on weither or not to knock....but it looked abandoned. She narrowed her eyes suddenly and let out a small breath. This place....it was....full of scents of different beings...inhuman beings. Other beings have and are here....have stayed here......She was hesitant about going further....but....
No matter....she need the rest...badly. And if she had to fight or kill every being in here to get it, that is what she would do....hopefuly, it would not come to that. She really did not have a hatred for beings that were not human...infact, she usually liked them better than humans, but she just had to be cautious. She never knew when someone knew or worked for Ellon...and she had an even worse time trying to trust another vampire.
She sighed and pushed the heavy door open easily, stepping in. She raised her eyes and gazed at the construction of the church. It really was beautiful, and moonlight filtered in, covering everything with an eery blue light. She loved times like these when she could stand there and just observe...study the beauty around her. It was a softer side to herself that seldom anyone ever seen.
She snapped out of her thoughts and looked back down again. She shifted her head to the left side, her hair falling over her shoulder. She couldn't yet sense another here, but she was human, so her eye sight was not as good as her ability to sense beings. She brushed her fingers up against the hilt of her blade, preparing to draw her daggers if she had to. She took a step into the church, letting the front door close behind her, the darkness engulfing her more, lessening her ability to see anything. She was not afraid though...she had gotten over that a long time ago. She lifted her chin as she stared out into the darkness, preparing for the worse.*
