i ono, if theres an eve, going by the way things work thru the bros theres gonna be either and adam or sumone of similar meaning thru myth or sumtin, cuz they always end up relating sumhow to a connection that way, like neo/one/eon and the idea of trinity (which still has not been broken down straight for us as to what she really does and why she is so important, as far as im concerned nothings complete until she knows why she is "there"😉 so i think if theres eve, theres adam.

I, for one, don’t think there IS an Eve. Even if it’s from the “Everything that has…” Eve is short for Evening, and just like Neodämmerung goes well with the theme of Revolutions.
I think Persephone and the Merovingian are “survivors” from the original, “perfect” Matrix, the one that was a monumental failure. We’ve never really discussed what this first Matrix really was, but I’ve taken it to be some kind of mythical Elysium/Paradise/Valhal (insert your favorite religions place of afterlife), with the corresponding deities, gods and goddesses.
Persephone and Mero were simply corrupted by the new Matrix versions, the endless repetition (Hel(l) is repetition), one anomaly coming by after another, resetting of the program etc.
If that’s true, then Persephone was written by the Architect.

I like your idea about the "Perfect" Matrix. I envisioned it more as a Garden of Eden Palace type place. Every need is cared for. Every desire is satisfied. Sounds great, which is why the machines would think it would work. But, in reality you would become bored very quickly.
