I agree...although, she does continually talk about how life is gunna suck for harry in the coming books...but i still think good will prevail.
This is random, but we actually discussed HP in my education class today. We were deciding what books we would put in our christian school library, and HP was one of the options (I decided to put it in 😉) But our prof thought that JK's view/belief system would be revieled w/ the end of the series....random thought, I know, but I was just pumped to be talking HP in school! 🙂

well he'll be around till the end of the book, after that only 4 things are possible, 1)harry would die, 2)voldemort would die 3) they both would die 4) they both would live but a) voldermort would remain evil (not possible)
b) the dark lord would be eliminated but voldemort would live
although jkrowling insist that evil is evil . and would remain evil

Back to Harry and Voldy. What could be worse than death for Voldy?? I mean, he's already not loved...thats what most of us would think of as worse than death. Like Li said...Harry's life might suck for the next two books, but that does not mean he will die.
We do know that what Harry possesses that the Dark Lord does not is love, right?? We did get that much said. That is how he is going to destroy Voldy. How it will come into play we do not know. Maybe Harry's friends will die to save him, just liek his mother did. And it might be that his friends all died at Voldy's hands, and his love for them will
give him the strength that he needs to use an Unforgiavble Curse.
Remeber how he couldnt do the Cruatious Curse to Bellatrix in the 5th book, because he didnt mean it/want it bad enough?? Maybe, after Harry loses several other loved ones (we know he will, we just dont kno who), he will have the strangth and motivation to perform the killing curse. Ok...enough rambling for one day. Any thoughs on this would be appreciated...let me kno if u think I'm insane!!

omg!!! hey, i know i'm way off topic here, but i haven't been on this site for months now, and i've just come back on to find that my thread is still going! yey! i still stick to my theory of harry having to sacrifce himself to kill voldemort.

At the beginning of this thread i came up with what i thought was a great theory, but others didn't appreciate it so much!!! 😖
In the very beginning it was said that when voldemort tried to kill harry, but he didn't succeed, as we all know!!!, instead,voldemort transferred some of his power to harry.
Now what I think happened was that he also gave harry some of his "Strength" if u like, which is why voldemort has never been truly defeated ie. he's just withered down to the point of near death, but never actually died.
In reference to my theory, this would be because some of his strength lies within harry, so without destroying that portion in harry, voldemort will always be able to hide away until he's strong enough to return.
I think that harry will realise this, and find that the only way to be rid of voldemort permanently, is that he must sacrifice himself, so that voldemort has nothing to hold on to, and then be defeated once and for all. are u with me?
like i said, a lot of people don't agree with me, but personally i think its a perfectly plausable idea
That is actually a pretty good theory. I do remember reading that, but in reading the rest of the thread before starting to post, I forgot about it. I do think that it is a definite pssiblilty for that to happen, or at least play a part in Voldemort's death and destruction. I dont disagree with u either.
