I will say again:
During his speech he used every word precisely according to the English Dictionary. This is taking into all variations on word meanings. Yes, I have sat through his whole conversation going through Dictionary.com. If it meant something different in another situation it would be listed in the dictionary. If it isn't then it is not official and just slang - therefore the Architect would NOT use it for those means.
He does indeed show small signs of emotion and is probably the reason his face lights up when he mentions 'love'.
But as I say, every single word he used is very exacting and precise according to the dictionary. So it should be assumed that it is the same for the 1 word which seems 'off' in a sense. It just would not make any sense for the Wachowski's to do something like that, it isn't their style.
The part of the conversation between the Architect and Neo that deals with this thread went like this:
Architect: The first matrix I designed was quite naturally perfect; it was a work of art, flawless, sublime. A triumph equaled only by its monumental failure. The inevitability of its doom is apparent to me now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every human being. Thus, I redesigned it, Based on your history to more accurately reflect the varying grotesqueries of your nature. However I was again frustrated by failure. I have since come to understand that the answer eluded me because it required a lesser mind, or perhaps a mind less bound by the parameters of perfection. Thus the answer was stumbled upon by another, and intuitive program, initially created to investigate certain aspects of the human psyche. If I am the father of the matrix, she would undoubtedly be its mother.
Neo: The Oracle
Architect: Please. As I was saying she stumbled upon a solution whereby nearly 99 percent of all test subjects accepted the program as long as they were given a choice, even if they were only aware of the choice at an near unconscious level. While this answered function it was obviously fundamentally flawed thus creating the otherwise contradictory systemic anomaly, that if left unchecked might threaten the system itself. Ergo those that refuse the program while a minority if unchecked would constitute an escalating probability of disaster.
Now, The Architect’s “Please” could mean a lot of things. It could mean “Yes” as per one of the definitions of dictionary.com that Sifer keeps screaming about. Additional support for that lies in the last few sentences of the Architect’s first quote above. An “intuitive” program created to “investigate certain aspects of the human psyche”
Intuitive/intuition is defined as: “capable of knowing without deduction or reasoning.”
Psyche is defined as: “To analyze, solve, or comprehend. To anticipate or guess the intentions of: “
This certainly sounds like it is the Oracle to me.
On the other hand, the tone of the Architect’s voice when he said “please”, could alter your interpretation. His tone was some what flipant or annoyed. This could mean a) The Oracle – you have got to be kidding me. Or b) Stop interrupting my speech you annoying lesser mind human.
Those are the facts. You can make your own decision. Mine is that the Oracle is the mother.

That's crap, did you watch the movies? She predicts nothing. She simply states the knowledge she has.........she KNOWS the path of the one, and the path of the one is determined by the many......so she knows what they are doing too. She tells us flat out she doesn't predict anything........she already knows it.
Sifer......you're a jackass. I posted "puh-leeze" like that to get across the point of the Architect's condesending tone while saying it. He doesn't just give a polite little "please"...........stop being a *****, you knew exactly the point I was making.
I can't wait untill Revolutions comes out for the simple fact that every single one of these posts will still be on the first page and we will all know the outcome of Revolutions. At that point Sifer, who posts as if he KNOWS what is going to happen and how the story will flow and all else must be wrong, will either have to stick around and be laughed at for being wrong on many occasions.....or he can leave to avoid the humility.
Most of us post our opinions and thoughts........we don't belittle everybody else as if what we are saying is correct and everyone else is wrong. Sifer feels the need to post his opinion as if it is proven fact and everybody else is completely wrong. Boy it will be fun in here a month from now.

Not everything in the Matrix is difficult. Morpheus is who he is and what he says he is. Morpheus and Lock dislike each other over Niobe. Smith is going crazy.
But even then: It is no LONGER easy, that the Oracle is the Mother of the Matrix, for the reasons we have discussed here endlessly.
Look at the exchange posted by tshirt. The Architects please is in a consenting way, and can be taken to mean:
1) “No. The Oracle is NOT that intuitive program.”
2) “Goodness, you really are caught up in that prophecy-stuff, aren’t you. Her name is “in2 ITV 56A.”
3) “Don’t interrupt me!”
Even if we say, well, the Architect doesn’t have a strange machine-code name, the intuitive program was INITIALLY created for something other than her current purpose. So if we say it is the Oracle, her original designation may’ve been “The Psychologist.”
