who writes all this stuff

who writes all the star wars books and make star wars this and that is it geroge lucas or does he own a compny that has wrtietrs write these books or what cause i dont see ne of them on the shevles at ne book stores i have been to but i wasnt looking for them so that is another reasons why though

yeah Bantam Doubleday owned the rights to the books at first, they used different authors for most (except for trilogies or series)

Now it's some other company, not sure who it is though... They make the NJO series...They also use different writers

There are many who have done several books though, such as Kevin J. Anderson, Timothy Zahn, and a few others...

LucasArts gives writers the basic story line for the book, and the author must follow the set line...they can control the authors this way...
