General Fiction Discussion

Eh. I got a vague idea. Not a fan fiction like most people are doing. Tis going to be my own creation of my sick and twisted mind!... I need to find a way to censor it down enough to get into this though. O.O

i am not doing fanfic either, i have got a few ideas rattling around in the old noggin.

Well, two more days until submissions can be made.

We have 23 contestants, as the thinker and Dusty just joined.

That is really cool. I didn't expect a lot of people 😄

I'm still considering ideas. Dammit.

Well not for another month, to be honest. Entries only start being submitted in two days.

Heh. Two more days then I have a whole month to deal with it. Sigh.

Btw, 1-2 full KMC posts is quite a lot. My Matrix story that Rex used for the example was about 6 full pages when printed out.

That isn't a lot though. My chapter one is like fifteen pages

Um, can we maybe place a limit? We'll just have random people joining all through August, and we'll have to read 50+ entries before you know it. I'm all for participation, but we need to keep it reasonable.

And yeah, the competition inspired me to write something even though I'm not entering. I have a bunch of random short stories, but would have wanted to write something new if I had entered. I think I'll post it.

I think 10 thousand to 20 thousand is good.
