mines going in late because i'm having trouble thinking of something to write about 😖

I've done that!I do that every year over my winter vacation, actually. I dunno why, it's just a good time to read LOTR.
It does seem like the perfect opportunity. Everyone I've mentioned it to has said the same thing; "Well, your holiday must have been pretty boring if you spent most of it reading." No, I spent some time over a period of four days reading, and not much time at that 😂

I hate slaying books that quickly. In a bind (for school usually) I'll do something like that, but books for pleasure I like to spread out over a week or two.
It's not slaying, though. As Lana does, I read extremely quickly. I don't miss chunks out as some people do (I hate that 😛 ) and I absorb all the information, I just read very fast 😂
Exactly. But a lot of people will see a large, descriptive paragraph, perhaps of the surroundings, or even of a character's feelings regarding a situation, and miss it out in favour of the next set of speechmarks. You're right, a hell of a lot of a story can be missed by doing that. If you're trying to save time while reading a book and it's a race for the end, you shouldn't be reading for pleasure IMO.

Yeah, I'm like that. Now I've got nothing to read because the book I got to last me a fortnight I finished in 3 days. Wasn't too keen on the ending though. Now I've got to wait until I can get to the shops again to find something else to read
I've done that so many times, I'd go and buy 3-4 books and expect it to be enough to last me a couple weeks.
Three days later, I've finished all of them.
Though I'm also not averse to re-reading books, either. Most of my books I've read at least 5 times.

✅ Same here, do you find that each time to re-read a book you see it from another perspective and come across points you missed before? I love that droolio
