Edna advances, still defending with her sabre whilst reaching with the force for his dropped blaster.
"face it Hade! YOu are week! Your entire plague of pirates are week and pelloran is a fool. He hasn't the intelligence to get himself anywhere in this galaxy! You should have stuck with us. Whoever pelloran has joined forces must have been a fool to think he could help them."
She knew that look. The if I'm going to die, I'm taking you with me look.
Without even thinking edna fires the blaster in her hand aiming for his right shoulder and hurls her sabre at him keeping it turned on through the force, in a curving sweep in an attempt to take off his left hand, disarming him and leaving him in agony!
Hade stumbles out of the way of the blaster shot, but this leaves him, unprepared for your thrown sabre.
Still, you have never done that before. Your sabre clips the ground early, leaving a shallow gash across his chest. He cries in pain and falls backwards, and you can quickly pull your sabre back to your hand.
Edna rushes forward with the speed of the force, knocking the blaster from his loose grip then pointing her own blaster at his head and her sabre at his chest as he lies on the floor. she does of course make sure not to stand too close.
"I just hope whoever pelloran is working for isn't as feeble as you or they will make rather boring opponents! Mind you, it could be enjoyable to watch another weakling fall to the strength of my sabre!
"NO I thinkyou'll find you'll be going there first!" says Edna with a playful grin on her face whilst idly shreading Hade's tunic with her sabre hoping to make him nervous. "Do you know what it feels like to have a lightsabre through your heart? No I don't suppose your new boss told you that before he instructed you to betray a jedi!"
"I may be young but I'm not stupid Hade! Your twice my size for pitties sake! Tel me what I want to know and then I'll tell Kuylen I killed you. But you have to tell me me first. That's the deal! What have you got to lose?"
Edna eyes him up. "Except maybe a few limbs" She runs her lightsabe across his chest towards his arm and back again
"I'd say a Force adept ranks more dangeorus unarmed than I do!" says Hade.
"But ok. I'll tell you one thing, then you put your sabre down, then we talk more. Deal?
"That assassination mission to Damagran was a sham. There was NO need to kill Derin. There was no risk of losing the vote on independence. That was made up to get some of you off the planet; we could deal with you more easily then.'"
That makes you uneasy, Edna. The pirates didn;t tell Kuylen about that vote; Faylar did. So Faylar- your most vital ally- must have betrayed you too.
"Now, put the sabre down," says Hade.
Edna kicks the blaster at his side as hard as she can so that it flies a long way down the corridor. She throws her ownblaster equaly far. Steps backwards a couple of steps and switches of her sabre and reattaches i to her belt.
"I kept to my word. Now talk and you will be free to go so long as you don't show your face around here again!"
"Ok," says Hade.
"Faylar is a man of vision. The Damagran Confederacy represents 13 worlds that will soon be OUTSIDE the Republic. That's a lot of power for one man. Faylar will soon rule ALL those worlds.
"He couldn't do it alone, though. He met with your Kuylen two years back, as you know. He let Kuylen do his silly little mining operation in return for his help in arming us pirates to weaken Damagran, and speed its independance in a hundred different ways.
"It worked TOO well. Kuylen has turned our clan into the most powerful in this part of the Galaxy. We have more power and wealth than we could have dreamed of. And Damagran has started to become independant for sooner than anyone thought.
"Faylar knew that we pirates would be a problem, and that Kuylen would not always be his friend. So he did a deal with US, a few months back
"He devised a plan to eliminate Kuylen. We knew we couldn't take you ourselves, but we knew that the Jedi Order would show an interest one day. Faylar encouraged them to come; he made protests to Corusacant about the worsening pirate situation and threatened independance.
"When you idiots destroyed that space station, we knew the Jedi would come. Faylar lied to Kuylen about the pro-Republican wing on Damagran, making it look like their leader needed to die. With two of you off-world, there were less of you to deal with. We waited for the Jedi to arrive and for you all to start fighting. Then we struck. It just didn't go as planned.
"With you dead, there would have been no more obstacles to us. The dead Jedi would raise questions but Damagran will be independant by the end of the week. The Jedi Order will have no power there.
"That just means Faylar will have to defeat the pro-Republicans on Damagran. They are well-armed... but when this pirate clan becomes the offiical armed Confederate forces for the whole Confederacy, the pro-Republicans will soon fall. Yes, Faylar offered us a chance to be his own army! And as well paid as before. He'll be a hero. He will wipe out the pirate problem and bring order in one go.
"You may have lived now girl, but there is no hope for you., Your operation is finished, you have no friends here. The Jedi will hunt you down and you will be nothing."
Hade struggles to his feet.
"I'm leaving. Keep my place in hell warm for me."
