After the Reloaded DVD
After seeing the DVD a couple of times over the past few days (what a surprise!), there are a few things I’ve started to wonder about. Things I did notice when I saw Reloaded in the theatres, but didn’t pay attention to.
Why is Bane in a coma?
In ETM, just before the Sentinels attack the defence line, we see Bane leaving a cockpit with incapacitated characters, and he crawls down a hatch.
Of course, he may’ve just stumbled and knocked his head. It can’t be an EMP, since EMP’s don’t disrupt human bio-electrical signals.
Any good ideas?
Why doesn’t Seraph warn Neo? Just before the burly-brawl, Seraph tells the Oracle that “it is time.” Time for what, other than getting the hell out of dodge?
The twins are not dead. Period. I paid attention to them this afternoon, and when they’re “injured” they simply turn into ghosts. So just like Persephone used silver bullets to “delete” the “werewolf” you probably need something special to off the twins. But how do you kill a ghost in he myths?
The Architect: “The Matrix is much older than you think.”
Persephone: “They’re from a much older version of the Matrix, but like so many they created more trouble…” (Talking about the werewolves).
MUCH older? Much older VERSION. How many versions are there?
Matrix 1.0 The first, perfect, flawless, sublime work of art. (Architect, Agent Smith)
Matrix 2.0 A new one, based on the various grotesqueries of human history. (The Architect). “Again I was met by failure.”
Matrix 3.1 As 2.0 but with the solution stumbled upon by the intuitive program.
Matrix 3.1
…
Matrix 3.6 The one we’re seeing now.
That means three versions. Hardly enough to call 1.0 a “much older version.”
Or what?
