me and my mates fell asleep watching equilib, thats how fun it was...

I loved Equilibrium, almost as good as matrix...So, the Matrix is my fav.

it had some really good fight scenes. but come on.

i am all into the books like 1984 and Brave new world, so i liked it...different plot, same basic idea

there was some cool fights on the trailers, shame we didnt stay awake long enough to see them 🙁

is it worthing buying for the fighting?

Equilibrium was good in its own right. I do not think it is fair to try and compare it to the matrix because it was not built on the same level (ie budget). However if you are asking me which I watch if both DVDs are in front of me then the decision is easy, the matrix.

Equilibrium rides high on the Matrix wave, that’s for sure. One man against the system? But it’s a cool movie, I really enjoyed it. It should’ve had a bigger budget, but the story works in it’s own right, and I was surprised to see Christian Bale doing such a good job (He scared the bejezuz outta me in American Psycho).
But it doesn’t have the innovative storyline of the Matrix – and no cool heroine.
But it’s definitely worth a watch.
