Dave Grohl is my all time musical hero and influence,and for him to take the big step of moving from drummer and backing vocals to lead singer and bass guitar is pretty brave and he pulled it off excellently particuarly since he emerged from the shadows of the icon that is Kurt Cobain. The Foo's are one of my fav's up there with Daves 'other' band that is Nirvana, they have released four amazing albums with catchy rock tunes such as Breakout,My Hero and Learn to Fly to more thoughtful,melodic rock tunes such as Times Like These and Next Year whcih appeals to all rocker lovers.

these guys are so great. they dont give a f**k about the trends or fashions, they just tell it like it is and make great rock music. all four of their albums have been good and Dave Grohl has got to be the most versatile performer on earth. Monkey Wrench, Up In Arms, Stacked Actors, Breakout, Aurora, Gimme Stitches, Times Like These.......so many great songs. anyone else like them?

The Foos are one of my favs, they have the ability to mix ballads and rock at the same time, Dave Grohl is my all time favorite musical influence although mainly in his role as a drummer, although for a frontman particularly when coming from the shadows of both Kurt Cobain and Nirvana he has done pretty well, my favorite album is definitely The Colour and the Shape but unlike bands like Korn and Metallica their later inputs have been pretty good as well.

There Is Nothing Left To Lose for me. i love that album. in my opinion Foo Fighters are just as good as Nirvana ever were. They're far more consistent.

And may they go on forever. I love everything they have ever done but my favourite song is 'All My Life'.

And I love Dave drumming with Queens of the Stoneage. 🤘

Yep his guitaring and drumming contributions are noted on Tenacious D's album , i believe he contributed to a considerable amount of songs for Tenacious D.

Sure did. Tenacious D also rock. It's nice that comedy can be used in rock without it being some dumb novelty thing. 💃

yeah i like them, some of their cds petter off at the end and finish with what seems like filler to me, but they always pack so much good shit into the first half of their cds it hardly counts. havn't heard In Your Honour yet but its in my to buy pile. they've made some killer tracks
