They never had horns in their helmet. That image comes from a British painter who thought they looked more fearsome with horns in their helmets so he painted them with horns. This image have stuck (wrongfully) with the Vikings ever since.

Since we're tallking about Norway, the best winter olympics were in Lillehammer! I loved the way they made the venues in the shape of viking ships! I loved those olympics! The ones in Naganno were horrible! The summer olympics in Atlanta were Horrible, the ones in Sydney were horrible. The ones in Barcelona were great! The olympics are only good when there in Europe, they suck every where else. I'm sure the olympics in Athens are going to be the best ever!
