I've Enlisted!

Bum Bum Bum.

Yep, going 19-kilo (Armor Crewman) going officer, finally, 2 years later after talking my friend in to joining with me, I'm finally joining lol...(held out for being too young so went to college).

So I am going to MEPS next Thursday//Friday I believe.

And will go to Basic//AIT this Summer//Fall.

And get back into College, to contract with ROTC, and hopefully...Graduate by 2007 to become a Tank Officer

That is, I shall commandeth 4 70 ton killing machines each with enough fire power to decimate normal regiments.

Anyways, this on top of what I am determined to switch my major to Political Science, instead of my Current Chemistry.

As who here ever listens to me talk about Chem? That's right, I only debate POLITICS...so might as well be in that major huh?

So yeah...things are getting busy 😮

Oh yeah...took my ASVABS today...again, scored so high...blew the damn meter...40-50 is an "Average score" I got 95/99

Go me...and, this explains why I haven't posted much 🙂

Anyways, yeah, just a bit...anxious and nervous and a bunch of other feelings I no longer understand...lol

Ok. Didnt understand half of what you said but if your happy it works for me 😉 Good luck.
Interesting sig 😄

Tanks aint the safest place to be though

well I hope you enjoy the army

have a blast

Break a leg!

thats really cool. I respect people who go into the Army, THANKS FOR everything

i wanna join an infantry division rather then armored or navy or airfore

if anything i would choose marines. i wanna be on the front lines

Hey KidRock, Marines aren't always the front line 😉 But look into Marine Armor 😄 Though I believe they are questioning using the M1A2s as they are not very "infantry friendly" concerning the fact the exhaust burns everyone who gets too close to it lol...

But...just gotta sell what I love...tanks are awesome, it's debateable how "safe" they are...they aren't as vulnerable to air as many would think, but, if you're not careful you just might get your head crushed by the breach (happend to some marine which caused a re-writting of all Tanker Field Manuals...as he forgot to turn the GDT switch to EU and thus lock the breach in one position...rather, they hit a bump while he was loading a round, the weight of the round imbalanced him and he fell back on the breech, coming down that bump the breech went up to stay on target and squash...) Ahh...but no pain no gain you know, gotta do something dangerous or where's the glory?

Have fun, KidRock, with Infantry though, that'd be my second choice...Airborne actually, but I don't expect NOT to get 19-kilo.

Congrats, FreeMason! Have fun in the army!

"Over there! Over there!" Oh wait, Finti's jukebox job, not mine...

I did the whole army thing it's really stupid don't bother with the whole thing, jking I did some consulting work for the us goverment down in maryland total top secret, but those guys in the army know there stuff would deffinetly work with them again because I now have Top Secret B-Cept clearence I think that's how you spell it but I have the highest clearence possible that can be given to anyone other than a general.

Wow, that's pretty cool.

ITS ALL ABOUT THE AIRFORCE!! HEE HEE! 😄 Even though I am going guard in a few years.....tired of active duty....but over here in Germany....its NICE!

They don't have tanks in the Air Force 🙁

But it's cool...gotta friend in there, Tinker AFB Oklahoma...why they bother building runways there I'll never know, the whole countryside is flat enough... 😉

Don't become part of the machine, man.

Morph your the machine, mason is going to defend the machine. or rather the oppertunity of choosing to become apart of the "machine"

Good luck mate! And God Bless. A lot of young men and women are joining up to be part of the future, and I wish you nothing but the best from that. Go blow up a few targets for me too will ya'? Again, good luck!

I hope things are better in the US Army than the Australian Army.

I did about 3 years in the reserves ( part time/weekends etc,) over here, and it was choc full of dead set whimps/pussies, whatever you want to call them.

I had to get out of it, because I would have been sh-it scared of going to war with a lot of them. They would have got me killed, nothing surer.

Also there are way too many people in the Army over here that are just of a power trip.

When I enlisted, I was in the top 2% of all applicants on the IQ and psych assessments. I wanted to go to an Infintary Unit, andhang out with some real blokes with some pump.

I used to get really frustrated when the officers treated me like a pleb, not realising that I was probably a lot more cabable of doing their job than they would ever be. In saying that, I didn't want to be an officer, because most of them were private school boys who thought it made them sound intelligent to speak with a half baked English accent, and grow a moustache like a 1970's porn star.

I hope things work out for you better than they did for me Freemason.

the US Army doesnt want cocky people, because it takes team work, pride, and responsibility to make a soldure. if you have somthing the other guys dont have you need to try and pass it on to them, keep the inspiration
