Tarja Turunen did a good version of Alice Cooper's Poison, and Within Temptation did a good job of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill.

One by Korn has got to be the very worst cover I've ever heard. They didn't even do the guitar solo FFS.

Metallica's cover of Bob Seiger's Turn the Page was Frikin awesome, there are also alot of other great covers on that album.

I really like After Forever's cover of Evil That Men Do by Iron Maiden, and Iron Maiden's cover of Cross-Eyed Mary. I'm also torn between whether or not I think Therion's cover of Summer Night City by Abba is funny or awesome. Or both.
