Monkeybone - and your favorite character?

If you like "The Nightmare Before Christmas" Henry Selick's, "Monkeybone" is even more dazzling. There are some scenes that scream Burton's influence especially in “Downtown” which reminds you of the hereafter waiting room in "Beetlejuice"

I bought the DVD to catch the extras and features, directors commentary etc.

Oh man, Monkeybone is on DVD already? Didn't it come out like 2 months ago, that was the biggest flop of the summer right? Is it really good?, because I like those gothic looking freaky movies.
