I cant stand Tim Robbins but I saw Shawshank redemption a long time ago and of the group it was the best. If you put it next to a Lord Of The Rings movie or a Star Wars movie it would loose.

Shawshank is a good movie. It would have been a great movie if DeNiro played the lead, or even the character played by Morgan Freeman. Just as long as DeNiro was in it somewhere.
