i know, but i just don't think it looks any good. trying to make it look black and white remastered to color and those type of strange jets...seems so articifal and uninteresting. don't mean to be so literal, sorry. now that i think about it, kind of makes me think of the world of tomorrow ride that i've heard about. a parody, the movie. i know it isn't that, i'm just kiddin' around! lol

o god. that movie looks terrible. its not even PG 13

looks different. Has a neat appeal to it. Everything was done to create a nolstagiac atmosphere of 50's sci-fi. Of course the movie could have been done in realistic looking effects, but then i dont think it would be very original. I dont know it seems to look inetersting to me. It has some great actors as well.

if a movie were to take a place during that time period, i would prefer it to have less of a huge scifi and fantasy base and more of a serious war/drama tone to it. that's how i like things. just an opinion. don't have to agree and argue with it.

I can't believe how much constantine is getting bashed already though. I think it looks awesome, but it's getting bashed because it has Keanu Reeves, surprise, and because they made Constantine an american and not british.
Constantine is coming out in Feb. 2005

Sky Captain looks pretty decent now that their showing trailers that shows off a different premise than I originally though. I'm not a big fan of Law or Palthrow, however, so we'll just see how it goes

Series of Unfortunate Events 🙂 🥷

They are about three children who's lives go from bad to worse.... when you opren the book it tells you straight out this is a depressing story... 😖 ...

is it fantasy? 😑

Yes 😄 they have access to things in Olaf's were they basically can do anything... and the things that happen are out of the ordinary... 😄

time travel and magic? 😑

i dunno bout this movie. i dont think the stories are interesting enough to keep people in theatres for 2 hours. but since Jim carreys in it i might go see it

guess the movie is targeted for a younger audience than us.

The books certainly are, but I love them anyway. The books are so ridiculously serious that I'm looking forward to what they do in the movie
