Stargate SG-1 dvds

Just Wondering if there are any SG-1 fans out there?if so do you collect the dvd box sets, i have Season 1 on dvd box set, i am still waiting for Seasons 2-5 to be release to region 4, it is taking FOREVER!

Ive got seasons 1-3 in singular format and season 4 in boxset format,i am gonna buy season 5 as soon as possible. Great show.

Yeah SG-1 is a great show, i wish Apophis was still alive, he was the best System Lord ever, Anubis is ok i guess, i can't wait to see The Lost City episode, where Anubis attacks earth.

Apophis was great, much better than Anubis.

Anubis was a big star wars rip-off that wasnt scary at all, unlike a Apophis: the original and best ememy of earth!

STARGATE SG-1 rocks!!!!! I have all 6 seasons on DVD. I'm in the middle of Season 4. Apophis is like a magot. He justs keeps coming back!!!!!! I'm not complaining though 'cause I like him. He's adds excitment to the villainy. Revenge is always on his mind.

My favorite episode has to be Window of Opportunity in Season 4 where O'Neill and Teel'c replay the previous day over and over again!

"Colonel O'Neill! What the HELL are you doing?!" Hammond screams at him as O'Neill and Teel'c stand before the Stargate with the wormhole engaged wearing golf cloths and hitting golf balls into the event horizon.

"Trying to improve my back swing!"

I really, REALLY want to get all of the seasons on box set...

...but I don't think I can get enough $. 😛

what if:
you buy one every 2 months..., there are 6 sets, each is $50, $30 on eBay... and one every 2 months = profit

Window of Opportunity is a great episode. Its Directed by Peter Deluise who has never made a bad stargate episode and he writes as well. And if you have ever seen an interview with him he is so funny.

But without Richard Dean Anderson to bring the element to humor into the fantastic show, it would just be another Sci-Fi series.

In every episode he comes out with good lines, and it has rubbed of onto the other characters.

One of my favorite lines is from Urgo:
Teal'c: Appearances may be deceiving.
Jack: One man's floor is another man's ceiling.
Daniel: A fool's paradise is a wise man's hell.
Jack: Never run with... scissors?

And Peter Delusies dad plays Urgo in that episode. If you watch the preview of 'The Tomb' on the season 4 box set he tells you about it.

"Well, that's a Chelsae."

"Now that's a needle!"

"Deja va."

Daniel: "I've never known someone who liked porridge that much."
O'Neill: "When you've been eating fruit loops for 3 months, a little variety helps."

I've been tempted to buy SG1 DVD's but i think i'll wait until all of them come out so i can have the entire series at once. Also they are very expensive too.

About $50-$60 each. Seasons 1-6 are out now, Season 7 is out in October... Daniel Jackson is back by popular demand. Then begins Stargate Atlantis with a whole new team. And people, the people of Atlantis are the Ancients as thought, and they created the Stargates.
