nirvana-b/c they chnged music foreverSoundgarden was just as early as Nirvana, so was Green River and Mudhoney. The three of them was part of the first wave of grunge band and was heavier than the second wave which began with Nirvana. Nirvana was more melodic than the frist wave and they(Nirvana) also made Grunge a huge comercial success. But to say that Niravna changed music forever is a bit steep, they were a part of a scene that changed the music scene a bit, but music have always been in some sort of development and that one group get credit for the change is falt out wrong.
Hell, Neil Young wrote Hey Hey My My in 1977 and that is grunge all the way so.......... Nirvana had success thats why they get a lot of attention, but they were just part of an allready ongoing development within the music scene

David Grohl was actually only the drummer for Nirvana for a short time I believe. 🙄
and also while people argue who was the first grunge band I believe grunge was never intended to hit a major audience. Even though I do not believe in selling out Pearl Jam are considered to have broadened the scene. (before nirvana) Mudhoney was about the first grunge band! and Alice In Chains are THE penultimate grunge band for me 😄
Black Sabbath - simply started the whole metal thing
metallica - made metal big
pantera - this band is RESPECT
korn - though they kinda suck now they influenced most of todays bands and there first album is just superb
tupac - what i can say about this man a legend
pink floyd - good bye blue sky
micheal jackson - u cant say a word!!
