What, a man can;t change his kind, yerssot? Several people here have chnaged their ki9nds about the new title since it was annoucned. And so has he. Fsir enough, yeah?
KJ, I felt motivated to speak so strongly about what was said because it was such an outrageous comment. I have two friends just starting their acting careers that thought this was the stupidsest idea ever. It;s the sort of thing Equity strikes against; in fat, one of the showed me Equity's guidelines about how you should act in relation to your current employer and any attempt to set how you shoulkd act about just about anything OUTSIDE the film should be met with a firm 'piss off' and a representative of the union brought in if it continues.
Of course, if you sign a contract you are bound, but the unions on both sides of the Atlantic are becoming more powerful and such practice is sying out.
And a good thing too; the idea is an outrageous infraction of free speech. If you don't like something- even if you worked on it- you have every right to say it. You can hate someone for it but to impinge upon his professionalism- whcih has nothing to do with it- is low indeed.
I found the comments very disturbing and I commented as such.
