Sauron

anyone else think sauron is best character ever created, i know alot of you will say morgoth is eviler or something like that, but i dont care sauron is amazing, any1 got anything 2 say on the matter, I WANT THREADS 🙂

Hm I nearly agree... not the best character but definitely one of the best...
for my part I prefer Morgoth, the Nazgul... and Beleg 😄

i knew someone would say morgoth, he may be eviller but sauron is more like a believable character he feels fear and all the stuff evil people arent supposed to plus he is cunning

Morgoth is a bit afraid of Ungoliante, for example (and she is "only" a Maia)

morgoth knew fear, when fingolfin pounded on his door challenging him to combat it says that morgoth only took the challenge because of all of his captains were their with him, and it says that he alone of all the valar knew fear. he feared the west, he feared the noldor. exa, good call, i love beleg he is one of my favorites plus mablung, ecthelion, and glorifindel. its kind of odd, the noldor were supposed to be the mightiest of the elves in beleriand but aside from there princes you dont hear anything of them. mablung and beleg where sindar and ecthelion and glorfindel could have been noldor but not necessarily, could be mixed blood, (i think it says somewhere that glorfindel was of finarfins house though)

yeah but does he look as cool as sauron, although saruman is uite good aswell

anyway is the silmarillion a good read, iv read all other jrr. tolkien books but not that one, i though it was written like a textbook, whats it about

i love it, it reads like the bible, kind of slow, but i ussually blast through it. it is all the history of the begining of the world, the coming of elves and men, and the battle of good versus evil, all of which the lord of the rings is just the very end of.

See, what I tell ya, Morgoth does know fear.

And the Silmarillion is a must read for any true Tolkien fan.

Christopher Lee does an excellent job of Saruman! Sauron is a really interesting character..... Tolkien does an awesome job of making his character, go Tolkien!!!!!

Sauron is good but he gets negative points for putting all his power in a freakin ring like a dummy-booty. In terms of bad guys, there's not a bad guy out there who impresses me at all. But thats just me Sauron just seems like another run of the mill bad guy to me. blah blah blah blah blaaaaaaah. Ya blah blah blah blah blah blah?

Morgoth/Melkor is better, also: Feanor, Finrod, Finwe, Fingwe, Finarfin, Fingolfin, Galadriel, Turin, Luthien Thinuviel, Glorfindel, Glaurung and Smaug, Thorin, Gandalf, etc etc not by this order...

And the three "stoned"...well.. 😄 the ones who were turned to rock by Gandalfrock trolls are cool too 😛

Saruman is also interesting, yes ✅ but I dont like him as a character...
Hm I like most of the Lords of Gondor a lot... but the Nazgul are the best 🙂

But I think it was a mistake by Sauron to make the Ring.
For a time, it was good (lol) and he had power and everything, but putting your most important thing into some small thing is imho not very intelligent. cuz how could he have lost his power otherwise if he hadnt "put" it into the ring?
